Christopher M. Murphy, Esq. – FELA Litigation Attorney

Christopher Murphy has spent the last 15 years representing those persons and families suffering injury or death due to the carelessness of others. By limiting his practice to those clients suffering catastrophic injury and wrongful death he has been able to dedicate the significant time necessary to obtain the highest possible compensation in such cases. Chris has represented over 200 families in wrongful death cases over the years.

Christopher’s legal practice focuses on personal injuries, accidents, mesothelioma, wrongful death, and train derailments including FELA litigation.  FELA, or the Federal Employers’ Liability Act, was passed in 1908 by Congress to combat the excessive death count associated with railroad accidents at the turn of the 20th century.  FELA was put in place to allow railroad workers not covered under standard workers compensation laws to sue companies as a result of their workplace injury; commonly referred to as a FELA injunction.
