Tom Duffy, Esq., of Duffy + Partners has been named a “Community Hero” by the National Transplant Assistance Fund (NTAF), an organization offering assistance and financial support to transplant patients and those living with catastrophic injury. The award will be presented at a networking breakfast ceremony held in conjunction with the Main Line Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, April 8, 2010 from 7:30 to 9am at the Radnor Financial Center in Radnor, PA.
Duffy is a Philadelphia birth injury lawyer and is being recognized for his generous support as a benefactor of the NTAF. Also receiving awards that day are Villanova student and football player Matt Szczur, who is scheduled to donate bone marrow to a 13 month old girl with juvenile leukemia on March 15th and Dan Jones, volunteer regional director of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Buoniconti Fund, the national fundraising arm of The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis, the world’s largest, most comprehensive spinal cord injury research facility.
