Ruth Bernstein – Injury Lawyer in New York City

Before she became a New York brain injury lawyer, Ruth E. Bernstein enjoyed a successful career as a broadcast journalist and investigative reporter at several local television stations.  Wanting to focus her career on helping people, she decided to attend law school where she was on the Brooklyn Law Review and received honors in the field of Federal Court Jurisdiction.  After beginning her legal career in some of New York City’s largest law firms, Ms. Bernstein opened her own firm because of her desire to help injured people and their families obtain justice while providing a level of personal attention that only a small firm can achieve.  She has garnered such a superior reputation within the New York City legal community that other attorneys often seek her assistance and refer trial matters to her.

As a New York brain injury lawyer, Ms. Bernstein is committed to taking on controversial cases, and as a result, she has been featured on various local news broadcasts in connection with high-profile cases.  In addition to her dedication to the law and to her clients, she is committed to assisting the general public.  Every year, she goes to Washington, D.C. and Albany to lobby for legislation that would improve consumer rights and the civil justice system.
