Vivian L. Holley, a San Francisco divorce lawyer, has been practicing family law and mediation since 1978. Ms. Holley is licensed to practice law in California as a State Bar Certified Family Law Specialist, and was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court in 1985.
She has been a licensed Marriage, Family, and Child Therapist since 1975, and has mediated and resolved over 1,500 disputes involving couples, families, estates, businesses, real property, and community groups.
Ms. Holley has been a pioneer in promoting mediation in California as a better way of resolving family and other legal disputes. She has trained and mentored other mediators since 1978, and has served on the board of many professional organizations, including the Board of Directors of the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists (ACFLS) since 1990. She was President of ACFLS for the year 2000 term. She has been a member of the San Francisco Collaborative Law Practice Group for over ten years, and the San Francisco Bar Association Family Law Section since 1979. Ms. Holley was voted by her peers as a Northern California Super Lawyer in 2006 and 2007.
