Education
Ted received his J.D. from the Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1975. In 1972, he graduated from East Texas University with a B.S. in Political Science.

Ted’s involvement in local and state communities is longstanding. A former police officer and past member of the Texas House of Representatives and Senate, he received more than 20 awards and honors for his accomplishments. He spent 15 years in the legislature, serving four years in the Texas House of Representatives and 11 years in the Texas Senate respectively. He has dedicated his life to helping improve the quality of life for others.
