Sam joined the Atlanta law firm of McCamy, Phillips, Tuggle & Fordham after graduating from the Tulane University School of Law in 2004.
Practice Areas:
While in law school, Sanders argued onto the Tulane Interschool Moot Court Team and participated in the National Mock Trial Competition held in Baylor, Texas. While still a law student Sam tried several jury trials to verdict while working with the District Attorney’s office and also tried two matters in United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana as a part of the Tulane Civil Litigation Clinic. In his third year at Tulane, Sam was inducted into the Order of Barristers, a National Honor Society recognizing the top oral advocates in the graduating class.
Sam is active in the local community. He was a member of the Leadership Dalton-Whitfield Class of 2005 and he is currently the Chairman of the Board for the Dalton-Whitfield Daycare Center, Vice-Chairman of the Dalton-Whitfield Hospital Authority and Vice President of the Conasauga Bar Association and currently serves as a buddy for Big Brother/Big Sisters of Northwest Georgia Mountains. He is also the local Regional Coordinator of the High School Mock Trial Competition held each February in Dalton.
Before law school, Sam graduated from Harding University in May of 2000 (B.B.A., summa cum laude). At Harding he was an American Studies Distinguished Student and was selected to serve as President of Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Honor Society.
